Week 1

January 1, 2011 - Happy New Year! I can't think of anybody better to start it with. Also - this is year four of master bathroom remodeling (currently at a stand-still). Classy.


January 2, 2011 - This pretty much summed up our day. Jack and I barely even left our places on the recliner and the couch. It's was actually pretty awesome. We really needed the rest.


January 3, 2011 - Today Jack had to work but I didn't, so I spent another day being lazy on the computer and cleaning the house a little, but he was home for lunch and we got to visit a little bit then. Maggie is officially spoiled - we have been allowing her up on the couch when called lately.


January 4, 2011 - This is what I've been working on since the beginning of the year! I finally got my official Hornbuckle Designs digital scrapbooking store up and running, and it actually works! My brother Shane was actually my very first order - he bought templates to test it all out!


January 5, 2011 - This morning, Jack got up a little while after I did, but was so tired that he laid down on the bathroom floor. When he complained about being cold, I brought him a blanket and pillow, and he and Maggie spent the morning cuddling on the floor while I got ready. They were really cute, and I was pretty jealous I couldn't join them.


January 6, 2011 - The build-out has officially begun at the Murphy Taekwondo school! Today they put in plumbing, and the sheetrock will go in within a few days. We are so excited about this new location and the purchase of the school!


January 7, 2011 - Today was supposed to be my day off, but hey, what's that these days? We had a video recording at work, and I borrowed a whole bunch of tools and things from my dad and Jack to build a set for this particular video. It really did end up looking great - Chuck was so impressed with it that he sent Cynthia (his wife and our CEO) and the whole Special Events team into the studio after he was done so they could check it out too.
